It's clean hotel with lovely views and a nice design. 19 minutes drive to the airport.
Unfortunately Wi-Fi was bad.

I loved that it was clean and stylish, the staff were affable and rooms were functional.

Everything was good, the wifi was free. Amicable staff, beautiful rooms. Had appetising dishes in a good restaurant. Late check out.

Breakfast was super.versatile and lovingly prepared.
Even though it was announced in the announcements that the bar could be very noisy, I can only confirm that it was very noisy and I lived right above it, even after midnight.

Location was very good. Room was tiny, but with an extremely comfortable bed.
Windows were draughty, rooms extremely small.

The location is great for sightseeing. From here you can reach everything very well on foot.
It would be good if the hotel could name the nearest bus stop and the line you have to take. The plan at the bus station is very confusing for newcomers.

room amenities
The bathroom was not very clean. Seemed outdated.

Actually only the central location in the city.
The continental breakfast was very poor, not even cheese or sausage was available. As bread there was only toast. The cleanliness also left something to be desired. The armrest was really greasy and the joints in the bathroom were no longer gray but moldy brown. Internet access not good, probably only enough for a few rooms.

Central location for Bristol
Since my last stay 2 years ago the Hotel's decor has become very 'tired' & tatty. My room was extremely small as was the shower room. Room 40 needs a total refurb together with the corridors. Charges for the use of wi-fi & car park are not appreciated as most Hotels offer these without any fee. Room service provided a dry salad & no condiments on the tray. As I arrived late & was extremely tired, I didn't have the energy to ask for these & some dressing for the salad. With so many hotels to choose from in Bristol, Berkeley Square needs to 'up' it's game before I will be tempted back......

Brilliant location for shopping, bars, restaurant and the theatre.
Although the food at breakfast was of a high quality, the tables weren't cleared from previous guests and they also ran out of side plates and cereal bowls.

The location of this hotel is very good. The Staff couldnt be faulted, very polite and helpful.
We were unable to have a hot shower on the evening of our arrival, this was apparently due to a pilot light on one of the boilers going out, so we had to use another room on a seperate floor. The following morning we tried the shower again, no hot water, this time not the pilot light, they had just ran out! Which was totally unacceptable, how can a £90 a night hotel justify running out of hot water? The rooms are also not finished to a very high standard, if the rooms matched the lobby this would be a lovely hotel and worth the money (if it had hot water!)

There is a beautiful garden square just outside the hotel front door. The room was clean and spacious (single room en suite). Excellent value!

Cute little hotel, at an excellent location, close to the University of Bristol.
Hotel is above the club Square and it's very noisy on a Saturday night (when I stayed there). I stayed there one night, but they wouldn't left me in before 2pm in the afternoon and I had a to vacate the room the following day by 11h. Paying GBP 60 a night for a single room ("Executive Single") for less than 24h stay, with an additional pay for breakfast and Internet is rather expensive. For a hotel which boasts being closest to the university, I found it very inappropriate to charge for Internet, next to already pricey room charges. Fruit left in the room wasn't fresh.

As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The Receptionist gave us a very warm welcome with a BIG smile which means alot when you have been travelling all day.Our room was attractively decorated, cosy, comfortable and most importantly, clean. A lovely touch was the mini carafe of sherry with 2 small sherry glasses sitting on the side table , a bowl of fresh fruit and a small bottle of red wine with a hand-written message on a tag round the bottle neck. A lovely personal touch.
